Do you think spending $200+ for jeans is too much?
I have Diesel, True religion, and Rock and Republic, all from $200 to $300. They are PERFECT! They fit perfect, they have the boot cut perfect, they have fading perfect. But do you think its worth it? My co-workers tease me at work cause of my expensive jeans and me just being the intern, but they do like my jeans tho.
Diesel Jeans are designed, developed and washed in Italy as opposed to many other brands who’ve out-sourced their production to the Far East, Mexico and N. Africa. This alone is one of the reasons for the cost. The fit of Diesel Jeans cannot be matched by any other brand due to the extensive research of the denim and garment “washing” production phases. Diesel also spends a lot of money in Adverts / models, shows etc, making them a “luxury” brand. I think $200 is a lot of money for a pair of jeans, but I buy them anyway.

In the early 1990′s it seemed that men’s jeans have only one style and color, the high rise light blue faded jeans. As time passed on and it was acceptable for men to practice fashion, a wider variety of men’s jeans styles came into the market.
Men are not so flexible with fashion as women. They always choose comfort over fashion regardless of how good they look. Therefore all men’s jeans manufacturers have to ensure that the jeans they produce are comfortable for the wearer. As with women, men’s jeans also have a number of styles to suit their body shape along with a number of colors. The colors and styles of men’s jeans compliment their female counterpartsensuring both the male and female look in congruence whilst wearing the jeans. Men may face problems like females when selecting their jeans as not all styles suit all body structures and it is often difficult for a man to discover his body structure
As mentioned before, there are a number of styles for men’s jeans such as the men’s slim jeans which are low rise semi fitted men’s jeans ideally worn by men who have slim and flattering figures as it concentrates on the waist and thighs. Men do not prefer this kind of jeans especially the big built ones as it tends to show body flaws.
The most preferred style of men’s jeans amongst the younger generation is the low rise jeans that hang a little below the waist and are relatively looser than the slim fit jeans. The low rise style of men’s jeans is inspired by the rap artists who have evidently left a big mark on the men’s jeans fashion industry.
Jeans for men also come in a number of styles some may be ripped whilst others might be faded whilst some have holes, are clad in chains or are well fitted to mimic tailor made trousers. It is important for men to know their exact body structure in order to get the perfect jeans. Even a minute difference in style can have drastic effects on the look of the wearers. For example boot cut jeans may look good on tall men while it may make short men look even shorter.
Professional sales advisors are available in many retail stores to provide advice to prospective buyers on their body structure and the best fit style.
has anyone been to the citadel outlets in LA, Ca? im wondering if they are any good?
im looking for good deals on clothes and shoes………deals like you would find at your local swapmeet but actuall stores and real stuff…….i dont want to come out at cheap but im just not that lucky person that can say ‘i found a great pair of levi jean or a guess purse at like $30′ you know…………..
The outlet there is nice it’s like an outdoor mall but it’s no swapmeet. Prices are a little bit cheaper since it’s an outlet but you should check online if the citadel is having any sales cuz the stores vary.
