I’m turning 14 this month, and I wear a size 5 or 6 in normal jeans, like from American Eagle and Hollister. I am fit, and the BMI calculator tells me that I am at a 20.
I am confused when it comes to jean sizing using the hip. I never really measured it accurately, but today, I decided to use some yarn. With my measuring, my waist is a 24, and my hips (at the widest part) are a 33. I’ve always thought I had wide hips compared to the rest of my body, but on a sizing chart, it says that my hips are a XS! Am I measuring wrong?
Please help me figure out what size I wear in jeans like Hudson and Seven For All Mankind.

Maybe I’m measuring wrong, because I DO NOT fit into a size 4. I am for sure a size 6 in jeans!

Because your meaurements sound like a size 0. I guess maybe you have thicker thighs? For example, you could have 33 inch hips/butt but have 22 inch thighs so you’d need a size 5/6. You’d usually need to have about 18-20 inch thighs to fit a size 0.
it is very similar to this on except i am not plus sized(only 13) and the sleeves are like 3/4 length. also the fabric isnt wool, it is more of a cotton/linen fabric. i was thinking it would be good for a winter/spring transition coat, or a fall/winter transition coat(only other coat i have is a northface). it was only 8$ (clearance) so i dont care if you think its ugly. What could i wear with it for bottoms? some examples of what i have are:
-skinnyjeans(black, dark blue, dark green, gray, olive green/cargo pants)
-normal jeans (black, light wash, dark wash)
-flared mini skirts(black, blue/green/purple floral)
-shorts (olive green, dark wash, light wash, white)
-other (khakis, yoga pants)
I would most likely wear it to school so i would take it off, so i dont really care what i wear for a shirt, but i would like to look good with it on and off.

you could wear some cute dark skinny jeans and a black long sleeved shirt see through you can get them at rue 21 and put a black tank in under it with some black boots or flats and get a really cute bag maybe with that color in it like from relic or fossil hope i helped please go answer my question

Im going to a wedding and i dont know what to wear help?
as a guest and its a evening wedding that i need to attend to its on july something and im so confused on what to wear..i don’t know anything about dresses and what kind would be for a wedding since wearing any kind of dress would probably make me look dumb with no class..
since i was wearing dresses when i was younger from age 1- to 12 …and after that i started wearing jeans so my mom is the one who dresses me..when i was little so that’s why i don’t know anything about it
so now im 17 and haven’t wore a dress since then…i also don’t want the dress to be plain i really need to stand enough for a wedding cause last year i went everybody had pretty deigns and sequins enough to make it appropriate for a wedding.

The maxi dresses on your link would be fine unless you’re in a church.The others are too short.
I doubt you’d pick anything out that was tacky.make sure it at least hits you just above your knee and is not tight.Don’t pick white because at a wedding, only the bride wears white.
If you pick it out and it looks like some thing to wear to sit by a pool, it may be too casual.
Pick some thing you would wear to church.

I’m trying to find a pair of men’s pants that aren’t jeans. I think they’re called chinos, however, I’m looking for a pair that’s sturdy and thick, with no creases, and somewhat tight fitting like Levis 511′s. I’m 18 so I’m not looking something quite for white-collar working class people. Just casual. I heard Dickie’s were good but I’m unsure. Any advice on what brand is good and what kind of store to buy them (I usually shop around Irvine) would be extremely helpful. Looking for two pairs, dark blue and a tan color. I’m not very fashion savvy, but I would prefer not to look like an idiot.
